Join the Operational Readiness team as a Reliability Field Engineer responsible for equipment data collection, validation, and maintenance strategy development. You will conduct on-site assessments, manage technical databases, and deliver reliability recommendations to clients. This hands-on position suits engineers looking to deepen their maintenance and asset management expertise.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Conduct field walk-downs to gather and verify equipment specifications and baseline data
• Enter and standardize equipment details and engineering specs into centralized databases
• Work with manufacturers and vendors to compile accurate parts lists
• Analyze maintenance records, engineering drawings, and technical manuals to produce reliability findings
• Develop Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) documentation for systems and equipment
• Execute quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness for client deliverables

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years working in process engineering, maintenance, reliability, operational excellence, lean six sigma, or TPM
• Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
• Competence in identifying industrial equipment and recording data in spreadsheets
• Comfortable using tablets, PCs, and related software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration in person, by phone, and via email
• Capable of maintaining focus and accuracy despite frequent interruptions
