Finance Analyst Collections

About the role

You will manage accounts receivable for Cabify Peru to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt. This role focuses on optimizing collection processes through data analysis and the implementation of automated solutions.

What you'll do

• Match and record incoming payments and credits within the accounting system.
• Oversee the accounts receivable portfolio by prioritizing tasks based on financial risk and aging.
• Create dashboards to track payment trends and provide actionable insights.
• Lower the average collection period and reduce outstanding balances.
• Establish internal controls and communication protocols for collection workflows.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, B2B, and Customer Experience departments to resolve payment issues.
• Lead projects to automate collection tasks and integrate artificial intelligence to improve process scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, Business, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Must have experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
• Background in process automation or artificial intelligence within a financial context.
• Proven involvement in continuous improvement or process transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with Zendesk.
