Accounting Analyst

About the role

Cabify is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join its Global Accounting & Reporting team. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of Cabify's international subsidiaries. You will ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with all relevant standards. This position acts as a key link between global financial strategy and local operations.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Review and validate accounting and financial closures for assigned subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to local GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies.
• Serve as the primary financial contact for subsidiaries, offering guidance, resolving issues, and fostering collaborative relationships.
• Verify that reported data is properly supported by reconciliations and lead initiatives to correct discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Internal Control teams on strategic projects, contributing your financial perspective.
• Coordinate and facilitate external audits for subsidiaries, ensuring transparency and timely compliance.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong communication skills for working with international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience from a Big Four firm or a multinational company with a parent-subsidiary structure.
• Familiarity with Oracle or Business Central.
