C2R Ventures is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to create and enhance technology platforms that support investment activities. This position involves developing web applications, internal research tools, and integrating AI functionalities to optimize the firm's investment processes.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and implement web-based applications and internal tools that improve research efficiency and investment strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers and the investment team to refine research platforms and workflows.
• Work alongside Quantamental Engineers on backend development, APIs, and data management.
• Integrate AI-driven features into investment workflows using various AI technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in buy-side, sell-side, or financial technology sectors.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend development.
• Strong skills in React and TypeScript for frontend development, including state management with Redux or React Query.
• Familiarity with data communication protocols such as REST, gRPC, and WebSockets.
• Experience with AI APIs and tools designed for AI development.

Nice to have

• Background in working with alternative data sources and handling both structured and unstructured financial data, such as transcripts and research reports.
