About the role
Businesswire is looking for a detail-oriented editor to manage the distribution of press releases and regulatory disclosures. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their market-moving news is processed accurately and transmitted effectively across our global circuits.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Format, proofread, and edit press releases for speed and accuracy.
- Manage distribution coding, suggest circuit options, and resolve conflicting client instructions.
- Verify the authenticity of incoming orders and escalate suspicious content.
- Communicate directly with clients to fix grammar, punctuation, or missing information.
- Monitor order queues and ensure successful online transmission.
- Assist with client inquiries regarding website navigation, account setup, and distribution services.
- Coordinate with sales, billing, and technical support teams to resolve issues.
- Process credit card authorizations and submit daily distribution reports.
- Maintain logs of daily operations and assist with shift-change procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Ability to work the specified overnight shift.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Professional phone etiquette and high-level customer service skills.
- Reliability regarding attendance and punctuality.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and general web navigation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
