QA Engineer (Automation, Java)

About the role

Brillio is looking for a QA Engineer to join the DE team and assist clients with digital strategy and solution implementation. You will work in a consulting capacity to build high-value digital products while maintaining quality standards across complex software environments.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and execute test cases based on identified use cases and scenarios.
• Build and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Perform functional, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and business stakeholders to resolve software issues.
• Manage test data and submit pull requests for code reviews.
• Troubleshoot automation software and debug application problems.
• Create test plans, test summary reports, and analyze automation results from Extent and Cucumber.
• Trigger automation suites and track bugs throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium.
• Experience with Cucumber frameworks and integrating backend systems with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and software internals.

Nice to have

• Experience with Test Data Management and BDD or TDD methodologies.
• Familiarity with Android Studio and Appium for mobile testing.
• Experience using Saucelab, Flyway, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Background in using Zephyr for test management.
