About the role
Brillio is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to manage testing and automation for cloud-based contact center platforms. You will join the DE team to build test strategies and implement frameworks for Amazon Connect environments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and execute test strategies for Amazon Connect contact center applications.
- Build and maintain functional and regression test suites using Cyara.
- Develop custom automation frameworks using Node.js.
- Validate contact flows, routing profiles, queues, prompts, Amazon Lex bots, and Lambda integrations.
- Test self-service workflows, customer authentication, callbacks, transfers, and error handling.
- Verify integrations with REST APIs, CRM platforms, and backend services.
- Perform smoke, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Track defects in Jira and report on quality metrics and testing progress.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of total professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 3+ years of experience specifically in contact center or IVR testing.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
- Proficiency in creating automated IVR scripts with Cyara.
- Ability to develop automation frameworks using Node.js.
- Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira.
Nice to have
- Experience testing Amazon Lex bots and validating AWS Lambda functions.
- Knowledge of AWS services including S3, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
- Experience with web automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Understanding of customer journey testing and contact center KPIs.
- AWS Developer or Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Cyara certification.
