Databricks Architect

About the role

Brillio is hiring a Data and AI Architect to spearhead the creation and deployment of modern, enterprise-grade data platforms. You will guide technical strategy for cloud-native environments, focusing on the integration of Generative AI and agentic systems into existing data ecosystems. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to modernize data infrastructure and establish high-level engineering standards.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and oversee the development of enterprise platforms that facilitate reporting, machine learning, and AI-driven business outcomes.
• Create frameworks for data governance, security, and operational management within cloud environments.
• Consult with business leaders to determine priorities for automation, AI adoption, and data modernization.
• Develop and supervise the implementation of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using internal data assets.
• Set technical roadmaps and architecture standards for AI and data engineering initiatives.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance on platform development.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of professional experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms, data engineering, and AI or GenAI solutions.
• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale data and AI platforms.
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, data modeling, metadata management, and governance.
• Experience building platforms that handle batch, streaming, and real-time data processing.
• Proficiency in either the Databricks ecosystem (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark, Mosaic AI) or Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Vertex AI).
• Technical understanding of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and multi-agent architectures.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Background in Real Estate, Property Technology, or Marketplace industries.
