Sr.Backend Developer (Node.JS & AWS)

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Node.js Developer to build and support serverless applications for an AWS-based contact center platform. You will create intelligent IVR and self-service solutions by integrating Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and various CRM systems.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Node.js applications deployed on AWS Lambda.
• Build IVR and self-service workflows using Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex.
• Connect contact center platforms with enterprise databases, CRM tools, and third-party APIs.
• Develop reusable Lambda services for authentication, routing, and case management.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Apply security controls including encryption and authorization.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and AWS DevOps tools.
• Resolve production issues and improve system performance.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional Node.js development.
• 4+ years of hands-on AWS development.
• Experience deploying AWS Lambda functions.
• Proficiency with Amazon Connect or Amazon Lex.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and microservices.
• Experience with API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of cloud security and secure coding.

Nice to have

• Experience with contact center IVR solutions.
• Background in conversational AI or chatbot development.
• Integration experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• AWS Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
