About the role
Brillio 2 is hiring an AWS Data Architect to oversee the creation of cloud-native data integration and API frameworks. You will guide the technical direction for serverless systems and event-driven platforms while ensuring high performance and security across enterprise environments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create scalable data integration strategies using AWS infrastructure.
- Manage the construction of serverless ETL pipelines via AWS Glue.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs with AWS Lambda and API Gateway, focusing on security and versioning.
- Implement authentication protocols including OAuth2, mTLS, and AWS Cognito.
- Develop event-driven architectures utilizing SQS and S3.
- Optimize database structures using Amazon Aurora and RDS Proxy.
- Define technical standards, governance policies, and operational runbooks.
- Monitor system health and performance through CloudWatch and SNS.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience with a focus on AWS architecture.
- Proficiency in Python or Java.
- Ability to design enterprise-grade REST APIs.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and database design.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Hands-on technical background with AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, Aurora/RDS, and CloudWatch.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Master Data Management platforms, specifically Stibo STEP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Background in supply chain or product master data management.
- Knowledge of Azure Service Bus or comparable messaging systems.
- Experience managing large-scale data exchanges involving SFTP, XML, and CSV formats.
- AWS Solution Architect Professional or Associate Certification.
