About the role
Brillio 2 is seeking a technical leader to direct the architecture of an AI-native CPQ platform. You will guide the development of agentic workflows and frontier model integration while managing the strategy for data platforms and pricing engines. This position requires a hands-on approach to building enterprise software that automates complex sales cycles.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Establish the technical roadmap for a product designed to operate on customer infrastructure regardless of specific hyperscaler constraints.
- Build a semantic data core using graph-based modeling, ensuring multi-tenant security and data provenance.
- Develop agentic service architectures, including LLM orchestration, retrieval grounding, and system guardrails.
- Define engineering standards for state machines, asynchronous API design, and data lifecycles.
- Manage the full technical delivery lifecycle, including model selection and build-versus-buy decisions.
- Mentor engineering staff and foster a culture of high-performance technical execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of software development experience with a history of taking products from initial concept to large-scale production.
- Practical experience with agentic systems using frontier models like GPT or Claude, focusing on function calling, orchestration, and memory.
- Expertise in production RAG implementation, including vector search, chunking, re-ranking, and semantic mapping.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering, specifically regarding structured JSON output, schema validation, and quality evaluation frameworks.
- Strong coding ability in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks such as React and Vite.
- Experience with containerization, asynchronous services, and cloud environments including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Demonstrated leadership in customer advocacy, execution speed, and team development.
Nice to have
