AWS Data Migration Consultant

About the role

Brilliant Infotech Inc. is looking for a consultant to manage the transition of Oracle workloads into the AWS ecosystem. You will focus on building and executing migration strategies that utilize real-time streaming and change data capture methods.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Execute full-load and incremental data migrations using AWS DMS.
• Configure and maintain cloud networking components including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, and Direct Connect.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and Lambda.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code templates via Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Oversee migration cutover and rollback procedures.
• Track system health and security logs using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

Requirements

• Local candidates only.
• Must be authorized to work on a W2 basis.
• Proven history of migrating Oracle databases to AWS.
• Proficiency in ETL and ELT workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience modernizing legacy on-premises systems.
• Background in hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
