Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Brightwheel provides a technology platform for the early education market, connecting millions of families and educators. This role focuses on the analytics behind our curriculum subscription and ecommerce business to improve customer success and retention. You will act as a bridge between complex data sets and business strategy within our distributed team.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead analytics for the Education Experience Curriculum, focusing on go-to-market insights, financial performance, and subscription retention.
• Partner with Education stakeholders to identify data requirements and provide recommendations that influence business outcomes.
• Construct and manage data pipelines and models for Post-Sales and Education data using SQL and dbt.
• Design and automate dashboards in Sigma and Tableau to monitor customer health and key performance indicators.
• Manage weekly business review data pipelines to ensure leadership has access to accurate, validated reporting.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Background in Post-Sales, subscription, or ecommerce data environments.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex query writing and data manipulation.
• Experience building and maintaining data models using dbt.
• Proficiency in BI visualization tools such as Sigma or Tableau.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical partners.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, and build infrastructure.
• Must be available to work during US business hours, specifically an 8-hour shift between 9am EST and 8pm EST.
