Staff Product Manager

About the role

Brex provides an intelligent financial platform that helps companies manage global corporate cards, banking, and spend management across more than 200 markets. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that influence our long-term company trajectory.

What you'll do

• Create and execute a multi-quarter product strategy that supports our primary business goals.
• Lead large-scale initiatives that involve multiple internal teams and complex technical systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering to oversee architectural design and evaluate technical tradeoffs.
• Establish clear success metrics and ensure teams meet measurable objectives.
• Guide decision-making processes in ambiguous situations by balancing speed with analytical rigor.
• Present data-backed recommendations and written narratives to senior leadership and executives.
• Mentor other product managers to improve overall product craft and execution standards.
• Develop specialized knowledge in areas such as financial infrastructure, risk systems, growth, or payables.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 plus years of product management experience, ideally within fintech or high-growth B2B sectors.
• Demonstrated success in building platform or financial infrastructure products.
• Ability to define strategies that result in tangible business outcomes.
• Strong technical fluency, including familiarity with APIs, data models, and system architecture.
• Proficiency in using SQL or similar tools for data analysis, metric definition, and experimentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to understand the intersection of product, technical, operational, compliance, and revenue systems.

• Experience building platform or financial infrastructure products is strongly preferred.

Practical notes

• Salary range: $240,000 to $300,000, depending on location, skills, and market factors.
• Total compensation includes equity and additional benefits.
• Employees are permitted to work remotely for up to four weeks annually, provided each period is at least one week long.
