About the role

Brex is building an AI-native financial platform to automate expense management and corporate spending for global businesses. You will lead the development of the Brex Assistant, an agentic product designed to handle complex financial workflows through conversational interfaces.

What you'll do

• Define the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Brex Assistant.
• Translate complex financial processes into reliable, action-oriented agent behaviors.
• Design evaluation frameworks, prompting strategies, and feedback loops to ensure agent accuracy.
• Prototype features, analyze user transcripts, and iterate based on real-world performance data.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and research to maintain high quality standards in a trust-critical financial environment.
• Engage directly with users to identify needs and validate product iterations.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of relevant product management experience.
• Demonstrated history of shipping complex, user-facing products from inception to launch.
• Proven experience building and deploying LLM or agent-based features for end users.
• Hands-on expertise in prompt engineering, designing evaluation metrics, and iterative development.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, ideally with experience as a founder or early-stage operator.
• Strong product judgment and a willingness to engage in technical details, data analysis, and prototyping.

Nice to have

• Experience developing chat-native, conversational, or SMS-based products.
• Background in fintech, expense management, or corporate spend workflows.
