Staff Product Manager, Embedded

About the role

Brex is seeking a Staff Product Manager to spearhead the growth of our Embedded business line. You will manage the platform strategy and API development to integrate our financial services directly into partner ecosystems.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the long-term vision for the Embedded API and partner platform.
• Identify and prioritize high-impact partner segments and financial workflows.
• Manage the full lifecycle of partner engagements, from initial discovery and executive-level pitching to technical solution design.
• Develop reusable API frameworks and integration patterns to scale the platform.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business Development teams to ensure reliable product launches.
• Utilize AI tools to improve developer experience and accelerate integration timelines.
• Manage key performance metrics including launch velocity, payment volume, revenue, and platform adoption.

Requirements

• Proven history of scaling API-based businesses or developer platforms.
• Deep understanding of developer experience, secure integration practices, and system architecture.
• Technical proficiency in data modeling, distributed systems, and financial infrastructure.
• Ability to manage commercial outcomes and link product roadmaps to revenue and payment volume.
• Experience operating with a founder or general manager mindset to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
