About the role
Brex provides an intelligent finance platform that helps companies manage spending, banking, and global corporate cards across more than 200 markets. We are looking for a second-line leader to oversee our Sales Development organization, manage SDR managers, and build the systems necessary to scale our pipeline generation.

What you'll do
- Supervise a team of SDR managers, ensuring they provide effective coaching and performance management to their staff.
- Take responsibility for segment-specific pipeline generation goals and ensure the organization hits or exceeds its quotas.
- Collaborate with RevOps, Marketing, and Sales departments to maintain lead flow quality and service level agreements.
- Develop and implement frameworks for hiring, onboarding, and career growth to ensure sustainable team scaling.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use data analytics to pinpoint operational bottlenecks.
- Guide managers through complex personnel issues and leadership challenges.
- Handle capacity planning and forecasting while reporting on function performance to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales or sales development.
- At least 3 years of management experience, specifically including second-line leadership of other managers.
- Demonstrated success in scaling teams and achieving pipeline or revenue targets within fast-paced environments, preferably in SaaS.
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales engagement software to drive data-informed performance.
- Proven ability to create repeatable processes for team ramp and career progression.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional partnership.

- Experience with outbound strategy scaling for mid-market and enterprise segments.
- History of selling to procurement, HR, or finance decision-makers.

Practical notes
This is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the New York City office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Employees are eligible for four weeks of fully remote work per year. The expected on-target earnings (OTE) range is $226,000 to $282,500, which includes base salary and commission. Total compensation may also include equity.
