About the role

Brex is seeking two Finance Associates to join our team in Vancouver. You will rotate through different workstreams to gain comprehensive experience in corporate FP&A while directly influencing our executive reporting and business strategy.

What you'll do

• Manage forecasting and planning processes while providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Update and refine financial models used for OKRs and operational reporting.
• Handle headcount planning, budgeting, and G&A finance tasks.
• Prepare monthly management reports and bi-weekly rolling forecasts for executive leadership.
• Assist Finance Business Partners with Budget vs. Actuals analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial systems and AI tools to automate reporting and improve team efficiency.
• Execute ad hoc analyses and special projects for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Investment Banking, FP&A, or Strategic Finance.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including complex data management and financial modeling.
• An AI-first approach to work, including a history of using AI tools to automate tasks or speed up analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on generating insights rather than just reporting data.

• Salary range: $104,000 to $130,000 CAD, plus potential equity and benefits.
