About the role
Brex is an intelligent finance platform serving tens of thousands of companies like Coinbase, DoorDash, and Zoom. As a Senior Design Sourcer, you will build the talent pipeline for our design organization by identifying and engaging top-tier creative professionals. You will act as the primary connection point for future design leaders and product designers who define our user experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and manage talent pipelines for Product Design, Brand Design, and Design Leadership roles.
- Execute proactive sourcing strategies across creative communities, social networks, and portfolio platforms.
- Partner with design leadership and recruiters to define role profiles and long-term hiring objectives.
- Create personalized outreach campaigns that effectively communicate the Brex mission.
- Evaluate design portfolios based on craft quality, user-centered design, and systems thinking.
- Monitor sourcing metrics, including conversion rates and diversity indicators, to refine recruitment strategies.
- Maintain candidate data accuracy within recruiting systems.
- Represent the Brex brand within the design community through events and social engagement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience sourcing or recruiting for design-specific roles, including leadership positions.
- Proficiency in using AI sourcing tools and professional networks like LinkedIn.
- Ability to assess design portfolios for craft, systems thinking, and user-centered approaches.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for candidate engagement.
- Data-oriented approach to tracking performance and optimizing pipelines.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to inclusive hiring practices and diversity.
Nice to have
- Experience managing design pipelines across international geographies such as the US, Canada, or LATAM.
- Familiarity with talent mapping, market intelligence, and compensation benchmarking for design.
- Background in employer branding or talent marketing within design communities.
