APAC Communications Manager

About the role

Braze is seeking a strategic communicator to lead regional brand awareness and media relations across the Asia-Pacific territory. You will translate global narratives into locally relevant stories to elevate our presence in customer engagement and marketing technology.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and implement integrated communications plans across APAC to highlight leadership in AI and marketing technology.
• Manage relationships with business, tech, and trade media, analysts, and influencers in Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.
• Coordinate with the Japan communications lead to ensure regional consistency.
• Secure speaking engagements and media opportunities for regional executives.
• Author bylines, op-eds, and talking points that position the company as an authority on data-driven marketing.
• Collaborate with product and customer marketing teams to produce regional case studies and localized product launch content.
• Partner with social media and content teams to align earned and owned media strategies.
• Track and report on media coverage and brand perception metrics to refine future outreach.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media strategy, specifically within B2B technology or SaaS.
• Established media relationships and a deep understanding of the APAC business landscape.
• Proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, impactful narratives.
• Experience directing PR agency partners and working within global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment while balancing strategy with execution.

• Background in a late-stage startup or public company.
• Familiarity with the marketing technology, customer engagement, or AI-driven SaaS sectors.
