What you'll do

• Generate precise financial statements based on accrual accounting principles.
• Conduct thorough reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, merchant services, and loan obligations.
• Apply financial analysis to inform strategic decisions based on data.
• Oversee the onboarding process for multiple clients across diverse industries.
• Adhere to established project plans tailored to client requirements and schedules.
• Provide high-quality service that is both punctual and within agreed-upon parameters.
• Utilize cloud-based accounting software and integrated tools to optimize workflows and achieve results.

Requirements

• Possess 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting that adheres to GAAP standards.
• Demonstrate excellent client communication abilities and a commitment to supporting small businesses.
• Have practical experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related academic discipline.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in public accounting or working in a remote, technology-oriented company.
• Exposure to industries such as e-commerce, product-based businesses, technology, real estate, or professional services.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements or projects concurrently.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and application integrations.
