About the role

Join the Enterprise Data division to manage the development and commercial strategy of equity indices. You will shape the future of our index offerings by translating market needs into data-driven solutions and representing the product to global clients.

What you'll do

• Define and implement the long-term strategy for the equity index business.
• Analyze market data to identify opportunities for new index products and terminal analytics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Research, Marketing, and Engineering to bring products to market.
• Act as a primary spokesperson for our index methodologies and product vision.
• Translate complex client requirements into actionable index-based solutions.
• Manage governance processes and ensure index methodologies remain accurate.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management or product development.
• Direct experience working with equity index products.
• Deep understanding of index construction, methodology maintenance, and governance.
• Knowledge of financial markets, the investment management sector, and sales cycles.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets to inform product decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically pivot tables and v-lookups, and PowerPoint.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to influence senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working directly with external clients.
• Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal.

Practical notes

• Salary Range: 140,000 - 295,000 USD annually.
• Compensation includes base salary, potential incentive bonuses, and merit increases.
