About the role
You will lead the product strategy for the BQuant platform, focusing on how users interact with financial and alternative data. This role involves building tools that allow clients to integrate their own datasets with Bloomberg data for research, trading, and AI applications.

What you'll do
- Establish the vision and roadmap for the end-to-end data experience within BQuant.
- Manage the product backlog while balancing immediate user needs with long-term platform scalability.
- Define API abstractions to facilitate the integration and enrichment of financial and alternative data.
- Ensure the platform meets performance, reliability, and SLA requirements for both batch and streaming data.
- Oversee data governance, security, and entitlement protocols across the platform.
- Support diverse financial workflows, including backtesting, signal generation, and production deployment.
- Coordinate with internal data-producing teams to onboard new datasets and ensure consistent data modeling.
- Partner with engineering, UX, and quantitative teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product strategy and execution for platform-based products.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex products from initial concept to final execution.
- Background in building or leading analytics infrastructure or data platforms.
- Technical proficiency with data access patterns, modeling, and API design.
- Experience managing large-scale datasets, specifically time series and streaming data.
- Understanding of quantitative workflows, such as research, analytics, and trading.
- Ability to manage data quality, security, and governance challenges.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on technical product development.
