About the role
Bloom Energy is seeking an engineer to focus on the performance and yield optimization of our solid oxide fuel cell and electrolyzer technologies. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets to drive improvements in our energy hardware production and capacity.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Track and evaluate performance metrics for core components to support yield and capacity growth.
- Create custom engineering software and algorithms for metrology and specialized characterization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and enhance stack production quality.
- Investigate new hardware and software solutions to establish improved quality standards and characterization methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis using JMP or Excel.
- Experience with Python programming and MySQL databases.
- Background in image processing, 3D data analysis, and 3D modeling.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Nice to have
- Practical experience in designing and constructing hardware.
