About the role
Blissway builds advanced infrastructure for toll collection and highway safety across the United States. We are looking for a recent graduate to join our engineering team in Denver to maintain and improve our roadside hardware systems.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and maintain hardware including schematics, PCBs, housing, and cabling for our roadside systems.
- Ensure 99.9% reliability for solar power, cell connectivity, and sensor arrays in outdoor environments.
- Develop code for edge devices that bridges the gap between physical sensor limitations and software requirements.
- Use CAD to iterate on designs to improve manufacturing assembly yields and long-term hardware serviceability.
- Manage the reliability of power and connectivity infrastructure to maintain our technical advantage.
Requirements
- Ability to commit to a high-intensity work environment, with an average of 55 hours per week and occasional bursts exceeding 70 hours for major releases.
- Proven ability to write code that functions reliably in unpredictable physical environments.
- High degree of adaptability and willingness to assist other teams outside of your primary focus area.
- Strong coding fundamentals with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
