About the role
Blend provides a cloud banking platform that helps financial institutions like Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank improve customer acquisition and digital efficiency. As a Professional Services Consultant, you will manage the end-to-end implementation of our software, serving as the primary lead for client engagements. You will bridge the gap between customer needs and technical execution to ensure successful product deployments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Master the Blend platform to lead configurations and product demonstrations.
- Manage full project lifecycles, including planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, and budget tracking.
- Lead meetings and presentations for both technical and business stakeholders, both remotely and in person.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional design documents for engineering teams.
- Perform hands-on platform configuration, including application settings, UI screens, and branding.
- Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing, troubleshoot defects, and manage go-live activities.
- Collaborate with internal product teams to influence future feature development based on client feedback.
Requirements
- Experience with full-lifecycle SaaS or package software implementations.
- Proven ability to project-manage multiple concurrent engagements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating requirements and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with software configuration and user interface settings.
- Familiarity with software programming logic and development principles.
- Working knowledge of JSON and API structures for troubleshooting integrations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Velocity.
- Experience in the banking or finance industry.
- Six Sigma or Green Belt certification.

Practical notes
- Compensation: Base salary range of $109,000 to $128,000 plus performance-based bonuses and restricted stock units (NYSE: BLND).
- Travel: Occasional onsite travel to client locations is required.
