About the role

This position involves managing daily operations at the military outdoor training facilities in Burwash. You will support the Project Manager by ensuring the site is prepared for scheduled training exercises and maintaining the property grounds.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Oversee the daily function of shooting ranges to support military training activities
• Perform general property maintenance tasks across the facility grounds
• Operate and maintain machinery including tractors with attachments, lawn mowers, aerators, snow blowers, and plow trucks
• Use various hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, power saws, hammers, and shovels
• Adjust your work schedule to accommodate range reservations, including evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor, including moderate lifting and walking across uneven outdoor terrain
• Previous experience or technical knowledge regarding shooting range operations
• Background in general property maintenance
• Proficiency in operating small to medium sized machinery and power tools
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on operational needs
