Associate, AFC Compliance

About the role

Join our second line of defense team to manage the execution and governance of our Anti-Financial Crime framework. You will play a vital role in scaling our compliance operations while balancing rigorous regulatory standards with a positive customer experience.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Investigate Enhanced Due Diligence, Proof of Funds or Wealth, Transaction Monitoring alerts, and PEP/Sanctions screening using OSINT and crypto exposure analysis.
• Draft comprehensive case documentation, including statements of facts, AML Officer presentations, and SARs or final approval/refusal decisions.
• Execute compliance controls consistently while meeting defined SLAs and communicating complex findings clearly.
• Assist in the preparation of data for the Controls Report and quarterly or annual AML reports.
• Partner with first-line teams including AML, KYC, Risk, Payment Operations, and Legal to resolve escalations and improve cross-functional processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AML Officer or in a similar financial crime compliance position within crypto, fintech, or banking.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment, document decisions accurately, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work within a shift-based schedule.
• Commitment to maintaining high regulatory standards while supporting customer needs.
