About the role
Help Bird transform urban transportation by ensuring electric vehicles are ready for use. This role involves maintaining the scooter fleet, making sure every ride is safe and available when needed. You will contribute to a cleaner, less congested future for cities worldwide.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Drive company vehicles to move scooters, following routes provided by a mobile app.
- Load and unload scooters safely for deployment or retrieval.
- Use a smartphone for various tasks while working quickly.
- Move scooters from less popular areas to locations with higher demand.
- Conduct basic checks and diagnostics on electric scooters and bikes.
- Assist with organizing and preparing vehicles at the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and use internal systems to meet daily targets.
- Participate in testing new products and features.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving history.
- Comfortable operating smartphone applications while performing other duties.
- Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Strong team player with good communication abilities.
- Proficient in English.
- Able to work one of two shifts: 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 2 PM to 10:30 PM, four days a week of your choice.
Nice to have
- Availability for shifts on weekends or other varied schedules.
- Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods.
- Prior work experience in delivery, logistics, rideshare, or warehouse operations.
- Bilingual language skills.
