About the role

Bird provides on-demand electric transportation to cities around the world. As a local Fleet Manager, you will partner with our City Operations Manager to maintain and deploy scooters throughout Fayetteville to ensure consistent availability for residents.

What you'll do

• Oversee the full lifecycle of your scooter portfolio, including charging, deployment, rebalancing, and retrieval.
• Perform repairs and refurbishments to keep the fleet in safe, ride-ready condition.
• Manage daily operations independently while meeting specific performance targets.
• Solve logistical challenges and prioritize tasks to maintain fleet health.

Requirements

• Must have a registered business LLC.
• General liability and commercial auto insurance (must be acquired within 30 days of onboarding).
• Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Deep familiarity with Fayetteville geography.
• Availability to work daily, including weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
• Ability to learn new mobile technology and operational software.
