Operational Risk Advisory Manager

This position involves evaluating and mitigating operational risks within Binance's product offerings and third-party relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the company's growth by managing risk effectively.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Assess risks associated with new and existing crypto products, working with product owners to identify and validate controls.
• Manage risks related to outsourcing, including maintaining registers, conducting vendor due diligence, and monitoring third-party performance.
• Support regulatory reporting and respond to inquiries from authorities like FSRA.
• Coordinate the remediation of regulatory findings and prepare for regulatory inspections.
• Track and report on risk and compliance activities to relevant committees.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial services sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in compliance, risk management, project management, controls, or audit functions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting and achieve objectives.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for coordinating with international partners.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in management consulting or dedicated project management roles.
• Familiarity with operational risk management, internal/external audit, compliance, or IT security.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
