This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of market surveillance systems within Binance. You will analyze data to detect and investigate potential market misconduct, working closely with various internal teams. Key facts
What you'll do
Analyze alerts promptly to identify and prevent market misconduct.
Flag potential issues and communicate findings to relevant parties, including senior management.
Assist in creating and refining surveillance models to cover different types of conduct risk and market manipulation.
Conduct detailed reviews of trading activity, assessing complex scenarios and resolving issues effectively.
Prepare clear summaries of analyses for distribution to Legal and Compliance teams.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and market trends to enhance surveillance capabilities.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services compliance, a financial regulator, an exchange, or a similar field.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex environments.
Solid understanding of trade surveillance and exception-based monitoring processes.
Good knowledge of financial and trading regulations.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
A proactive, self-motivated individual capable of overcoming challenges.
High level of initiative, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to integrity.
Nice to have
Familiarity with digital asset products and market structures.
