Senior Data Analyst, Trading

This role is part of our Data Analytics team, specifically supporting the Trading Business Unit. You will collaborate with trading, operations, and product departments to transform extensive data into actionable insights that inform critical, time-sensitive decisions.

What you'll do

• Contribute to all data lifecycle stages, from engineering to creating advanced visualizations, machine learning models, and experiments to support trading operations.
• Examine and understand massive datasets (petabyte scale) including transactional, operational, and customer information, utilizing both internal and external data tools, platforms, and analytical toolkits.
• Communicate intricate findings through clear visualizations and actionable recommendations for trading, operations, and executive teams.
• Operate within a dynamic industry and organization where rapid deployment is essential.

Requirements

• Hold a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in an Analytics or Data Science capacity.
• Have substantial experience in trading or financial derivatives (mandatory).
• Demonstrate a natural inclination to discover, explore, and explain data trends and patterns, with the ability to simplify complex technical findings for broad understanding.
• Prior experience in internal or client-facing consulting or business transformation is preferred.
• Show enthusiasm for emerging technologies in Blockchain, Machine Learning, and AI.

• Proficiency in at least two of the following:
• Analytical software (e.g., R, SAS)
• Data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI)
• Database management tools (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J)
• Programming languages (e.g., VBA, C++, Java, Python)
