About the role
The Binance Accelerator Program offers early-career professionals a 3 to 6 month window to gain direct experience within the digital asset industry. Participants work alongside global teams to build skills and expand their professional network within the blockchain sector.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Perform research on modern cryptographic protocols such as threshold signatures, post-quantum cryptography, signature aggregation, and blockchain proof systems.
- Evaluate and benchmark NIST post-quantum signature standards alongside new constructions from academic papers.
- Partner with senior engineers and researchers to apply research findings to real-world projects.
- Share research results and participate in open-source cryptography initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program for Computer Science, Cryptography, or a related discipline.
- Deep understanding of cryptography, specifically zero-knowledge proofs, MPC/threshold protocols, interactive proof systems, or post-quantum signatures.
- Coding proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Ability to analyze and interpret security proofs found in academic literature.
Nice to have
- Previous research work or published papers regarding verifiable computation, threshold signatures, or post-quantum cryptography.
- Understanding of smart contract platforms, blockchain architecture, or on-chain signature verification.
- Experience using AI tools to improve research efficiency.
