What you'll do
- Architect and lead sophisticated change communications strategies for large-scale enterprise deployments, meticulously designing narrative frameworks and messaging architectures that drive deep adoption and alignment.
- Synthesize intricate business and talent transformation challenges into clear, compelling, and actionable narratives, providing executive-level counsel on sustaining momentum throughout the change journey.
- Establish yourself as a trusted thought partner and advisor, building deep trust and exerting influence across C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders to champion the change agenda.
- Conduct detailed stakeholder mapping and define cascading influence paths, identifying critical champions and addressing latent skepticism within complex organizational matrices.
- Conceptualize, develop, and deploy multi-channel communication campaigns spanning email, live events, digital platforms, and executive forums, ensuring quality and brand consistency that solidifies credibility.
- Equip managers and frontline leaders with comprehensive toolkits, precise talking points, and practical coaching frameworks to act as powerful multipliers of the change effort.
- Implement robust listening strategies to sense and adapt in real time, establishing feedback loops and utilizing insights to continuously refine messaging and tactical interventions.
- Partner closely with the sales and delivery teams to translate client vision into executable change blueprints that are both ambitious and operationally feasible.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and learning, using data and qualitative signals to iterate on strategies and demonstrate the tangible impact of your work.
- Act as a guardian of the BetterUp brand story, ensuring that every interaction reinforces the company's core values of authenticity, innovation, and soulful transformation.
Requirements
You bring 8+ years of demonstrable experience in high-growth transformation, change activation, change management, and sophisticated storytelling within complex environments. Your background must include deep, hands-on experience in change management, organizational transformation, or human capital consulting, proving your ability to navigate intricate client landscapes. You possess exceptional communication skills, with the proven ability to craft and deliver narratives that move hearts and minds across diverse audiences and cultural contexts. Your skillset is genuinely multi-disciplinary, seamlessly blending the analytical rigor of a consultant with the persuasive creativity of a marketer and the precision of a strategist. You are highly creative and tactically sound, with an unwavering eye for quality in copy, visual design, and user experience that elevates the professionalism of every deliverable. You thrive under pressure, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in managing intense launch cycles and quieter sustain phases without compromising your effectiveness or well-being. You embody a builder's mindset, thriving in ambiguity, eagerly writing the playbook as you go, and confidently operating with minimal structure to drive results. Practical notes
This role requires travel up to 25% of the time for client engagements for hybrid workers, and up to 50% of the time for fully remote employees for client engagements and internal BetterUp purposes.
