Key facts

What you'll do

• Oversee the complete processing of mortgage loan applications, gathering and verifying all necessary documentation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates and addressing inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with internal departments like underwriting and closing, as well as external partners such as title companies, to ensure a smooth transaction.
• Maintain organized loan files, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Monitor the loan pipeline to track progress and ensure timely closings.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the application process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related area.
• Prior experience in mortgage lending operations or loan coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy.
• Familiarity with mortgage software and document management tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Better's AI platform, Tinman®, or voice-based AI assistant, Betsy™.
