About the role

Better is transforming the home finance industry by using an AI-native platform to reduce loan processing times from weeks to seconds. As a Home Lending Associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, guiding them through the mortgage process while providing feedback to our product and engineering teams.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage a pipeline of prospects for home purchases, refinances, and home equity needs.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist clients with mortgage applications and documentation.
• Meet sales performance targets and drive conversion rates through the funnel.
• Coordinate with underwriters and loan officers to ensure efficient processing.
• Provide accurate information regarding conventional, FHA, and VA loan products.
• Offer feedback on internal software and sales processes to improve the user experience.
• Respond quickly to new prospects while maintaining high standards for data accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience specifically within the mortgage industry.
• Proven history of exceeding sales quotas.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to build rapport with a diverse client base.
