You will help shape team effectiveness and implement strategies for high-performing teams.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, translating business context into people-focused priorities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on organizational design, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Enhance management skills across the organization, focusing on hiring, expectation setting, and feedback.
- Collaborate with leadership, Talent, and Finance on headcount planning and adjustments.
- Support change management initiatives during periods of growth and organizational shifts.
- Foster a high-performance culture through clear expectation setting and performance reviews.
- Manage sensitive people matters, balancing compliance with a human-centered approach.
- Advise on career progression, role architecture, and promotion readiness.
- Partner with Compensation on salary benchmarking and equity strategies.
- Work with People Operations on employee lifecycle processes, documentation, and best practices.
- Coordinate with Workplace Experience to ensure office needs are met for teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience, supporting all levels of management.
- Experience with organizations of 400+ employees undergoing rapid growth.
- Expertise in organizational design, performance management, talent strategy, and leadership development.
- Strong business understanding to quickly grasp priorities and build credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick, sound judgments in complex people decisions, with risk awareness.
- Analytical and first-principles thinker who uses data to identify root causes and build scalable processes.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a focus on ownership and execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, balancing directness with nuance.
- Ability to work in-person 3 or more days per week in San Francisco.
