Account Executive - Enterprise

Baseten provides the infrastructure required for top AI companies like Cursor, Notion, and Writer to run models in production. We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to lead our go-to-market efforts and secure new business within high-growth sectors.

What you'll do

• Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach to closing deals with Tier 1 accounts.
• Identify and acquire lighthouse customers to establish our presence in key verticals.
• Act as a technical advisor by understanding customer infrastructure needs and proposing specific solutions.
• Coordinate with forward-deployed engineers to execute architecture reviews, POCs, and technical evaluations.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to refine sales collateral and market strategies.
• Provide feedback to the internal team regarding deal blockers and effective sales tactics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, specifically within infrastructure, developer tools, or API platforms.
• Proven success closing seven- and eight-figure deals involving complex stakeholder groups.
• Experience selling into regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, or government.
• Technical fluency to discuss model serving, API architecture, GPU infrastructure, and latency.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills ranging from individual contributors to C-level executives.

Nice to have

• Prior experience selling cloud compute, AI/ML infrastructure, or model deployment platforms.
