Global Supply Manager

About the role

This role involves managing all aspects of software procurement for base-power, from cloud services to developer tools. You will establish vendor relationships and cost management practices to ensure efficient software spending as the company grows. This is an opportunity to build a sourcing organization from the ground up.

What you'll do

• Lead the complete sourcing process for IT hardware, SaaS, cloud services, and telecommunications, developing strategies for cost, quality, and scalability.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for software, hardware, and technology services, including licenses, subscriptions, and renewals.
• Use benchmarking and commercial analysis to evaluate supplier proposals and recommend suitable commercial structures.
• Collaborate with IT, Software Engineering, Finance, and Legal to understand needs and suggest cost-effective solutions.
• Manage RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance.
• Monitor technology markets, pricing, and new vendors to find opportunities for savings and innovation.

Requirements

• High sense of ownership and strong work ethic, taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Ability to learn quickly and navigate ambiguous situations, creating clarity when no existing process is available.
• Effective communication skills, capable of influencing technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, technology, finance, consulting, or operations is preferred.
