Sr. Product Manager

About the role

Bandwidth is a global communications software provider and Tier 1 network operator. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our CLEC team to drive the transition from TDM to IP connectivity by managing commercial carrier negotiations and product deployment.

What you'll do

• Develop strategies to transition Bandwidth toward full IP-based carrier interactions.
• Identify target companies and lead commercial negotiations to secure IP interconnection agreements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to establish connectivity and launch new carrier partnerships.
• Conduct market validation and customer discovery for new initiatives across wholesale telecom, consumer communications, and specific industry verticals.
• Use customer feedback and performance metrics to guide product evolution.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new service and technology opportunities via external industry events.
• Create and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning and benefit definition, in partnership with sales and marketing.
• Participate in cross-functional efforts involving engineering, operations, marketing, and sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• Background in telecommunications and SaaS business models.
• Proven track record in commercial negotiations, specifically with Local Exchange Carriers.
• Ability to thrive in early-stage environments where priorities shift frequently based on market data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with industry leaders.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a startup environment.
• Background in telecommunications regulation.

Skills & tools

• Telecom services and protocols including SIP, RTP, G.7xx, SMPP, and WebRTC.
