About the role

Avondale Dealerships is looking for a technical expert to manage the infrastructure and security for our Mercedes-Benz Grapevine location. You will be responsible for the health of our network, telephony, and server environments to ensure our operations run without interruption.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain our Windows Server environment, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization.
• Configure and support Cisco networking hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Manage Cisco Webex Calling and Meetings, including user setup and system updates.
• Oversee AWS cloud resources, focusing on provisioning, monitoring, and cost management.
• Execute system upgrades and patches while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor network performance and manage data backups and disaster recovery protocols.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and office equipment.
• Document network configurations, system diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Train staff on the use of communication tools, mobile devices, and business software.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver license and must be insurable.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
