We are seeking a System Administrator 1 to join our team at Avid Technology Professionals. In this position, you will manage and support our Linux systems while ensuring compliance and security. You will also be involved in various aspects of system administration, including storage management and networking.

What you'll do

• Manage and support Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Oversee storage management and virtualization tasks to enhance system efficiency.
• Provide application support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement and maintain IP networking and firewall configurations.
• Ensure compliance with SSP standards and provide STE/STN support for Linux systems.
• Utilize your knowledge of PKI, TLS, and cryptographic policies in daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration, specifically with Linux systems.
• Strong background in managing containers and cloud environments.
• Proficient in storage management and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with IP networking and firewall configurations.
• Solid understanding of PKI, TLS, and cryptographic policies.
• Familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
