Authentic provides the infrastructure and operational support that allows insurance brokers to launch and manage custom insurance programs. We act as the underlying platform that handles the technical, regulatory, and carrier-related complexities of the insurance industry. Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage product features from the initial concept stage through to final deployment.
• Create solutions to remove operational bottlenecks by applying first-principles thinking.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of development, including user experience, system architecture, performance tuning, and accessibility.
• Develop responsive interfaces that simplify complicated insurance workflows.
• Refine existing features by analyzing product metrics and user feedback.
• Work alongside senior engineering staff to define technical strategy and system architecture.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience developing production-grade web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Proficiency in modern frontend design patterns, state management, and overall architecture.
• Ability to contribute across the full stack, including backend systems and API development.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, including clarifying requirements and driving projects to completion.
• A history of delivering high-quality software while maintaining a fast development pace.

Nice to have

• Backend development experience using Python.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure management.
• Previous work experience at a high-growth startup.
• Interest in the fintech, insurtech, or regulated industry sectors.
