Staff Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Aurelian develops AI technology for 911 dispatch centers to improve emergency response efficiency. You will design the foundational systems and tools that support our conversational AI agents, AVA and CORA, ensuring our platform remains performant and reliable for public safety teams nationwide.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and scale analytics infrastructure using ClickHouse to support growing traffic and complex query requirements.
• Build comprehensive observability, logging, and monitoring systems to track production call performance and identify failures.
• Create internal developer tools, including testing frameworks, CLIs, and automation, to increase engineering velocity while maintaining system stability.
• Design abstractions and platform components that improve the productivity of the engineering team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering.
• Proven ability to manage reliability and scale challenges in production environments.
• Proficiency across the full stack, ranging from backend application logic to cloud infrastructure management.
• Interest in the technical challenges associated with scaling AI-driven systems.
