Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and implement software components that drive Auger's supply chain solutions, including real-time data processing, APIs, and AI-driven applications.
- Address technical challenges related to scalability, performance, and data integration, focusing on logistics algorithms and platform efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver solutions that are reliable and effective for our users.
- Take ownership of your projects from start to finish, gaining practical experience with cloud technologies, AI, and contemporary software methodologies.
- Produce impactful work, with your code operating in production environments that influence decision-making for businesses in logistics and other sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, with proficiency in Java or Python.
- Practical experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Experience in developing scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise-level applications.
- Willingness to work on-site at our Bellevue office and participate in on-call rotations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with a sense of urgency, patience, and a positive attitude.
- A history of personal projects, open-source contributions, or other initiatives that demonstrate your commitment to building and learning.
- Familiarity with supply chain systems or logistics is advantageous, as is knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (like TensorFlow or PyTorch), databases (SQL or NoSQL), or real-time streaming technologies (such as Kafka or Flink).
