About the role
Join Auger as a Security Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our autonomous operating system for supply chains. You will be responsible for implementing security protocols that protect our products and customer data, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure remains secure while collaborating with development teams to integrate security measures throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do
- Design and implement security controls for our cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust protection against potential threats.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities, prioritizing and managing security risks effectively.
- Lead incident response efforts by investigating security incidents and developing runbooks for future incidents.
- Collaborate with QA teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Establish security measures within the software supply chain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security engineering position.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proven experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in security tools for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and static/dynamic analysis tools.

The salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 annually.
