About the role
Attentive is seeking a Lead Product Manager to guide the Targeting product area within the Shopper Management pillar. This role focuses on the core functionality that helps marketers decide who receives each message, ensuring campaigns reach the right audience. You will define the strategy and oversee the execution of targeting experiences, from audience creation tools to intelligent recommendations.

What you'll do
- Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Targeting product area within Attentive.
- Develop customer-facing features that enable marketers to build effective audiences through advanced segmentation, recommendations, and smart targeting workflows.
- Collaborate with customers and internal customer-facing teams to understand current audience-building methods and find ways to simplify complex processes.
- Lead product discovery by combining customer research, behavioral data, and business insights to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Platform teams to deliver scalable targeting capabilities for personalization.
- Balance ease of use with flexibility, allowing customers to create sophisticated audiences without unnecessary complexity.
- Define success metrics, measure product impact, and continuously improve experiences through experimentation and data.
- Serve as a product leader across the organization, influencing strategy and informing teams about the evolution of Attentive's targeting features.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a history of owning customer-facing products from initial discovery to launch and ongoing iteration.
- Experience building products in MarTech, AdTech, customer data platforms (CDPs), personalization, targeting, audience management, or segmentation.
- Strong product intuition combined with deep analytical thinking, using data to uncover customer problems and validate product decisions.
- Experience developing customer-facing tools that streamline complex workflows while offering flexibility for advanced users.
- High customer empathy and a strong interest in understanding how customers make decisions and achieve their goals.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and collaborating with Data Science and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven products.
- Hands-on experience using SQL or similar tools to explore data and inform product decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
