About the role

ATC is seeking a dedicated professional to manage desktop operations and provide technical assistance to our staff. You will work from our Santa Fe office to maintain hardware and software stability within our Microsoft-centric infrastructure.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and repair PC and laptop hardware and software.
• Address user technical requests via phone, email, remote access, and face-to-face interactions.
• Track all support requests from initial report to final resolution using our service management system.
• Investigate and fix technical problems by identifying root causes and applying effective solutions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to address complex equipment or software failures.
• Verify that desktop systems communicate correctly with file servers, email platforms, conferencing software, and core business tools.
• Record incident details and updates to build out our internal knowledge base.
• Organize your daily workload to handle urgent tasks based on business impact.

Requirements

• Proven background in maintaining desktop hardware, operating systems, and common software.
• Proficient in diagnosing and fixing hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Experience using service management or ticketing software.
• Experience supporting Microsoft environments, specifically Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Active Directory.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and provide high-quality customer service.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume work environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, PERL, or Shell.
