Post-event and post-campaign recaps are built to clarify what worked and what the next steps should be.
Requirements
The posting states a minimum of 3 years of experience.
One to three years of experience in marketing, events, or operations roles, including internships and contract work, is brought to the role. Tasks, details, and timelines are tracked reliably so that items are not dropped even when priorities shift. Clear, confident written and verbal communication coordinates stakeholders across multiple functions without friction. Comfort operating in ambiguous situations is demonstrated by flagging blockers, closing loops, and keeping stakeholders informed. San Francisco-based presence is maintained with regular in-person attendance. AI tools are used in daily work to work faster and smarter rather than as a crutch. Issues are flagged early and follow-up is completed without being asked.
Nice to have
Relevant experience supporting events, field marketing, or community programs is valued. Familiarity with tools such as Iterable, Luma, or Looker is considered an advantage. Startup or high-growth tech company experience informs the work. Exposure to email marketing operations, campaign coordination, or lifecycle programs is helpful. A background in community coordination, developer events, or brand activations is welcomed. Experience in AI, ML, voice tech, or developer-facing products is a genuine plus.
Practical notes
This position is based in San Francisco and requires regular in-person presence. The role involves confidential access to customer data and company information, requiring discretion and sound judgment. Travel may be required for regional events and programs. Typical interview steps
Marketing interviews often include a portfolio review, a campaign exercise, and analytics questions. Candidates may be asked to plan a launch, write a brief, or improve a funnel. Some loops include a presentation. Results from past campaigns carry the most weight. Interviewers ask about specific campaigns you ran and what the numbers said. Preparing a short case of one campaign with its results is strong preparation.
